The Team: Richard Parry, David Wetherell, Robert Spenser, Carolyn Erickson

Software Labs was founded in 2004 by Richard Parry, a software development consultant and expert in software engineering who has worked his entire career in the software and website development industries.  In this time Richard has built the company, based in the heart of the Midlands from a small one-man-band to a multi-employee company, offering a wide range of programming skills.

Richard started Software Labs from the desire to help local companies grow through the use of the Internet, utilising all new web technologies and techniques to further the development of clients.  We have now been doing this since 2004 with great success.  We also like to tell people what we do through our white papers, and our newsletter.  (You can sign up to the newsletter using the form at the bottom of this page.)

We are based in central Lichfield, just 15 miles north of Birmingham, an area that allows the company to service all of the Midlands, as well as the entire United Kingdom. Our clients are located from Scotland to the South Coast and London.

While Software Labs is a registered Microsoft Partner, we are currently working towards Microsoft Certified status through our software development achievements. We are also a registered and active Apple software developer for the Mobile device platform.

All of the work we do at Software Labs is based upon the Microsoft and Apple platforms, specialising in Visual Basic (VB.NET, ASP) C# .NET and a very wide range of other technologies and languages, including and not limited to, XHTML, XML, PHP, VBs, VBa, SQL Server, MySQL and more....
